Loanie is an online platform that:
- Connects users with potential lenders or financial service providers
- Provides loan-related information and comparison tools
- Facilitates introductions between borrowers and third-party lenders
Unless explicitly stated, Loanie is not a lender, credit provider, or financial adviser.
We:
- Do not guarantee loan approval
- Do not set loan terms
- Are not a party to loan agreements between users and lenders
All loan contracts are between you and the relevant lender.

- Keep login details secure
- Notify us of unauthorized use
We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or suspicious activity.
5. Identity & Credit Checks
You agree that we and/or our partners may:
- Verify your identity
- Conduct credit checks
- Use third-party verification services
This may include accessing credit reporting agencies where legally permitted.

- Commission from lenders
- Platform or service fees
Where required, fees will be disclosed before you proceed.
You agree to pay any fees you accept on the Platform.
7. Prohibited Use
You must not:

- Use the Platform for fraud or unlawful purposes
- Attempt to hack or disrupt the Platform
- Use automated scraping tools
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform (branding, text, software, design) belongs to Loanie or licensors.
You may not copy or reuse it without permission.
9. Availability of Service
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
The Platform may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by NZ law:
Loanie is not liable for:
- Loan decisions made by lenders
- Financial losses from loans
- Indirect or consequential loss
- Loss of profits or opportunities
Our total liability (if any) is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
Nothing excludes rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act where applicable.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Loanie against claims arising from:
- Your misuse of the Platform
- Your breach of these Terms
- False information you provide
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.
You may stop using the Platform at any time.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
Any disputes will be subject to New Zealand courts.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms.
Continued use means acceptance of the updated Terms.
